IPSYCOM Begins Operations in the Dominican Republic in Partnership with Barrick

IPSYCOM LATAM has begun operations in the Dominican Republic, joining Barrick’s Pueblo Viejo operations and marking a new milestone in its international expansion.
Pueblo Viejo is a mining operation located in the province of Sánchez Ramírez, Dominican Republic, operated by Pueblo Viejo Dominicana Corporation, a joint venture between Barrick and Newmont. The operation is one of Barrick’s flagship mining assets in Latin America.
For IPSYCOM, the start of operations represents an opportunity to apply the experience and technical capabilities it has developed in highly demanding mining operations to a new international market.

This new challenge strengthens IPSYCOM LATAM’s growth strategy by expanding the geographic reach of its services and consolidating its participation in projects that demand high standards of safety, operational management, technical expertise, and compliance.
The company’s entry into the Dominican Republic builds on IPSYCOM’s track record in the mining sector and reinforces a growth vision based on its ability to serve operations beyond the Peruvian market.
