IPSYCOM saves more than 20 hours on maintenance work for Lundin Gold.
In a mining operation, optimizing a maintenance window means much more than simply finishing ahead of schedule. It means accelerating the return of equipment to operation and contributing to the continuity of production processes.
With this approach, IPSYCOM carried out two maintenance interventions for Lundin Gold, achieving completion times shorter than scheduled for both an Apron Feeder and a SAG mill.
The overall result: 20.15 hours recovered compared to the initially scheduled maintenance windows, two critical pieces of equipment, and a single requirement: to execute efficiently.
In February 2025, IPSYCOM carried out specialized maintenance projects that included replacing lining components on both pieces of equipment.
• A 72-hour maintenance project was scheduled for the Apron Feeder. The IPSYCOM team completed the work in 63.50 hours, saving 8.50 hours compared to the planned time.

• In the lining service, the project involved the removal of 83 liners and the installation of 91 liners, with the participation of 19 people and a total of 1,206.50 man-hours worked without any accidents.
• For the SAG mill, the project was scheduled to take 90 hours. It was completed in 78.35 hours, saving 11.65 hours compared to the initial schedule.

The results obtained reflect an execution capability focused on managing maintenance windows and maximizing equipment uptime.
Overall, IPSYCOM reduced the execution time by 20.15 hours compared to the 162 hours scheduled for both interventions, equivalent to a cumulative reduction of approximately 12.4%. These results stem from an execution process that requires coordination, resource planning, management of specialized personnel, and time control during each stage of the intervention.
